ANTM’s Castoff Celia Says Seventeen Editor Was Against Her
Even though America’s Next Top Model judges repeatedly criticized this week’s cast-off contestant Celia Ammerman for looking “too old,” Celia seems to think she was dismissed from the show for other reasons.
Celia says she understands the judges’ concerns about her age and her older appearance in her photos, but thinks that Seventeen magazine editor, Ann Shoket, played a larger role in her exit than any of the judges’ concerns about her age. Celia says, “I feel like Ann Shoket had a definite say in who she wanted to be representing Seventeen magazine, and I was not one of them.”
Celia also believes that supermodel Paulina Porizkova may not have believed she had what it took to be a “Top Model” either. Celia dishes, “I really actually like Paulina, but I think near the end, she couldn’t see me winning it.”
