Amanda Bynes has a new boyfriend who knows how to love her body right and she’d like us to know this has something to do with him being black.

“it’s amaziing how good it feels when someone knows how to love your body! I am having withdrawals from a certain guy lol : )” she tweeted last week. “So turns out i prefer chocolate over vanilla. interesting.”

And just who is this yummy piece of hot chocolate that’s got Amanda craving more? Amanda is rumored to be dating rapper Kid Cudi!

After catching heat about her “chocolate” reference, Amanda defended her use of the word, but eventually removed the posts.

A study released by Yahoo! Personals found that people are twice as likely to think about calling it quits between December and Valentine’s Day than they are throughout the rest of the year.

According to the survey, the two main causes behind the breakup are not seeing a shared future with the person and a lack of fulfillment from the relationship.

Bad Timing
“People don’t want to ruin their partner’s holidays, so they stick it out through December, and then you have a lot of post-Christmas and New Year’s breakups,” says dating expert and coach David Wygant.

Plus, January’s resolution rush motivates many people to tackle things that aren’t working — like relationships. Add the winter blahs and mounting pressure from a looming Valentine’s Day and you’ve got a perfect storm of split-up motivators.

A groom has created a storm after he interrupted his wedding last month to update his Facebook and Twitter accounts  from the altar.

Dana Hanna, who works for a pet website, also posted a short video of the ceremony on the Internet. It showed him reaching into his pocket for his phone as the minister was about to pronounce the couple husband and wife.

The video has had more than 350,000 views.

“Oh, Dana is updating his relationship status on Facebook,” the minister said as the audience at the wedding laughed.

After Hanna finished twittering he continued the ceremony.

“As I was saying, I now pronounce you husband and wife. It’s now official on Facebook. It’s official in my book. Dana you may kiss your bride.”

So what did the attention-seeking groom Tweet?  He wrote,  ”Standing at the altar with @TracyPage where just a second ago, she became my wife! Gotta go, time to kiss my bride. #weddingday 1:48 PM Nov 21st from Twittelator.”

But even though his video post has gained lots of attention, not all of it has been positive.  To those who don’t approve of what the groom did, he says, “To all the criticizers of my video out there questioning my sanity: You don’t get it. I was having fun at MY wedding! Loosen up, have fun!”

And what does his new wife think of the interrupted ceremony?  The Post Chronicle also states that his new bride has taken to tweeting about the incident, writing, “Can’t sleep, very anxious about this new fame. What will become of it?”

During that one week in Tokyo, Koh found himself fully committed to his virtual relationship with Rinko, a pouty, hard-ass high school girl who hung out at the library. The relationship was formal at first, consisting of awkward whispered conversations in which she sent mixed signals and called him by his last name. As things got more heated, though, she started calling him Kohichi (calling someone by the first name still carries a degree of intimacy in Japan) and became more demanding of his attention. “I felt like I might get sucked into this world,” Koh, who is an engineer at a major game manufacturer by day, tells me. “It’s not like any dating sim with young girls in it becomes a hit, but this one is really well-made.”

An article posted on a Japanese tech site in September told the story of several women who had complained on an online bulletin about how their family lives were disrupted by husbands addicted to Konami’s hit game. Last weekend, I invited Koh and Yurie over to my house to talk about Koh’s virtual relationship with Rinko, and how — if at all — it had impacted their real world husband-and-wife dynamic.

Koh, what do you and Rinko do together?

Koh: OK, this is pretty embarrassing. The DS has a mic and a touchscreen, so… one time, she asked me to say “I love you” a hundred times into the mic. I was on the airplane when she asked me that, so I was like, no way. There was also this part where you have to hold her hand on the touchscreen. If you touch her hand with the stylus, you get to hold her hand. And then there’s the part where you have to kiss her.

Did you do it?

Koh: No, no! The girl’s face shows up on the screen, and you have to touch her lips to give her a kiss. That’s pretty weird…. this is embarrassing. I’m sweating right now just talking about it.

Yurie: Ew. Do people really do that?

Koh: I guess some people do.

What do you think, Yurie?

Yurie: Until now, I wasn’t aware of the specifics of the game. Hearing it now, I’m like, barf. That’s just gross.

Koh: I know. It’s pretty gross. I really wouldn’t want my wife to see me playing this, me desperately trying to hold hands with a touchscreen.

Yurie: It sounds like you can really experience the realness of dating.

Koh: Yeah.. the girl also talks a lot. You hear her voice at every part of the game. A lot of dating sims are mostly text, but this one has a real humanistic side to it. I think this comes down to the fact that men are simple. This is obviously a computer program, but this makes us really feel like there’s a girl inside the DS. It feels dangerous, like I might get sucked into this world. Some guys on the Internet are saying that their Love Plus relationships feel more real. They feel like they’re with their girlfriend every day. I kinda get it.

But Koh, you have a real woman in your life.

Koh: That’s why I was able to come back. Thank god! I was only stuck in that world for about a week. Also, I got hooked when I was in Japan on a business trip, so when I came back to San Francisco, I didn’t play it that much. Maybe just for a day. In the bathtub.

Yurie: I didn’t really see him playing it.

Koh: It’s pretty damn embarrassing. I think if I wasn’t able to come back from that world, I would have run out of things to talk about with my real wife. I can understand why some couples would get in a fight over that.

Yurie, does this bother you at all?

Yurie: Not at all. If he’s just enjoying it as a game, that’s fine with me. I don’t care that he has a girlfriend inside of the game at all. I’m just like, oh okay. So that’s what you’re into right now. If we were to get into a fight over this, it would be less about the content of the game and more about how much time he spends playing it. It doesn’t matter what he’s doing, but if he spends too much time on the computer, then that’s not good.

Koh: Yeah, if I was playing too many games and that was compromising the time I spent in my real life, that would be a problem. It’s the same with Second Life or World of Warcraft. If I got too into something and couldn’t come back, that would be a problem. At the same time, though, the danger I felt when I almost got sucked into Love Plus was very human. If I was single and had gotten too into this… I don’t know, I recognized that there was a me in there that could have a real attachment to this artificial character on the other side of the DS screen. It made me think that humans could probably pretty easily develop feelings for AI robots. It’s the same with animals, right? Animals don’t speak words but you can really love them. But I do think it has something to do with the simplicity of men. I’d be really curious to see how women would react to a boy version of Love Plus. Source:BoingBoing.net. Last week’s episode centered on a singing contest of “Defying Gravity,” the anti-conformity anthem from Wicked, every tween girl’s favorite musical. The contestants: Rachel the glee-club diva vs. Kurt the, um—what’s the male version of diva? Kurt (Chris Colfer) wears fluffy Alexander McQueen sweaters and sings notes high enough to make your fillings hurt.

He can belt Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” and thrust his hips better than Ms. Knowles herself. Yet he can also melt your heart with his fortitude and frankness, especially during his fraught talks with his dad, a mechanic who still remembers when his son wore high heels—as a toddler. That’s the thing about Kurt: he can be endearing, but he’s also confusing. In one episode, the glee club split into a boys’ team and a girls’ team. Guess which side Kurt went for? If Kurt were transgendered, all that would make perfect sense, but he’s not. Instead, he’s that oldest of clichés: the sensitive gay boy who really wants to be a girl.

In the past year, however, the public-acceptance pendulum seems to have shifted back, at least for what is arguably the biggest test of equality. Two weeks ago, the people of Maine followed the people of California in reversing existing laws that had legalized gay marriage. In fact, when gay marriage has been put before the voters of any state, it has failed every time. Is TV to blame for this? Of course not. The mission of popular culture is to entertain, not to lecture. But if we accept that Will, Dawson’s, and the rest once fostered acceptance, it’s fair to ask if Glee may be hurting it, especially because the Kurt model is everywhere. There’s Marc (Michael Urie), the flaming fashion assistant on Ugly Betty; Lloyd (Rex Lee), Ari’s sassy receptionist on Entourage; the gay couple on Modern Family (one guy still pines for his ice-skating career; the other wears purple in every episode). The fey way extends to nonfiction, too, from the dozens of squealing contestants on Project Runwayto the two gayest words in the English language: Perez Hilton. Next week American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert’s new album, For Your Entertainment, arrives: that’s Lambert on the cover, wearing heavy mascara, black nail polish, and perfect lip gloss. Lesbians face a different problem. They are invariably played by gorgeous, curvy women straight out of a straight man’s fantasy—Olivia Wilde on House, Sara Ramirez on Grey’s Anatomy, Evan Rachel Wood on True Blood—and they’re usually bisexual. How convenient.

Minority groups have long struggled to balance assimilation and extinction, self-expression and alienation. Some African-Americans are complaining that the poor, uneducated girl in Precious perpetuates stereotypes; others say she represents a part of the community and deserves to be celebrated. For gays, that schism falls along generational lines. Older gays who spent their lives fighting for civil rights continue to want to stand out, to argue that acceptance means nothing if it doesn’t apply to the most outré members. Younger men and women, for whom society has been more tolerant, think of themselves as “post-gay,” meaning their sexual orientation is only a part of who they are. Last month, gay groups held a march on Washington for marriage. The older folks gave speeches. The younger ones seemed more interested in snapping a Facebook picture of Lady Gaga.
