Whew, now that it out in the open. I have to tell you about one of my favorite finds at the Duane Reade drugstore- Black Opal’s Patent Lips Liquid Lipstick in “red intensity.” I am a woman of color so wearing a red lipstick isn’t an easy task for me, especially having a red undertone in my skin. However, that all changed when I went on a purge at Duane Reade a week ago. I purchased this lip gloss/lipstick because I was in a hurry and it looked like a deep enough red that might work.
The good news is that not only did it look amazing on me, I received tons of compliments and when it wore off after several drinks, my friends told me I should re-apply it.
I just wanted to share the find with you. The cost was reasonable as well. I am going to go a buy another one because I hate when I fall in love with a color and the company discontinues it! Lesson learned!
