Details of the Christie Brinkley/Peter Cook divorce settlement were released last week. Sources report that Christie was awarded full custody of the couple’s two children and will maintain ownership of 18 properties purchased with her money (you go girl!) during the couple’s marriage. Cook came out looking less like an upper-crust socialite and more like a low-life perv when court room testimony revealed details of an affair with his 18 year old assistant, hush money he gave to the teen in the amount of almost $300,000, his $3,000/month internet porn habit, and (ewww!) his own admission that he used web cams to capture images of himself masturbating that were transmitted to swinger sites on the internet. Cook was awarded visitation rights with the kids and $2.1 million from Brinkley (as karma would have it, most of that hefty sum will end up in the hands of Cook’s attorneys!). The two will also sell and split the profits of a fishing boat owned by the couple. It was reported that Christie fought tooth and nail to prevent Cook from keeping the boat that she’d purchased for his 40th birthday. Looks to us like that cheater’s ship has sailed… And what’s what did the supermodel learn from this latest marriage meltdown? The uptown girl now says that after four unsuccessful marriages, she’ll never exchange “I do’s” with anyone again!
