Seems as if everyone’s eyes are glued to Mariah Carey’s midsection these days as Mimi’s baby-watch continues.  The songstress has made it known that she and new hubby Nick Cannon are hoping to start a family soon, but she’s been mum on whether or not she’ll really become a ‘mum’ within the next 9 months.  But the New York Post recently reported that Mariah was seen exiting the office of an L.A.-based OB-Gyn-to-the-stars holding something that was supposedly a sonogram.  Not to be outdone, the New York Daily News also reported that Mariah recently axed plans for a tour because of a supposed bun in the oven. 

We don’t know if Mrs. Cannon will really be a mommy any time soon, but if she isn’t pregnant, she certainly hasn’t helped squash any rumors with her behavior lately.  She recently turned down an offer to sip champagne with Ellen during her interview on The Ellen Show, and then performed at last week’s Grammy Nomination Concert wearing this red tent for a dress– and we haven’t seen Mariah with that much fabric on in about a decade!  Could the normally skin-baring diva have been trying to conceal a baby bulge?
