Did Sharon Stone Really Want BOTOX For Her Son?
When it was announced last week that Sharon Stone had been stripped of all custodial rights to her 8 year old son, many questioned exactly what could have caused a judge to determine that a mother was unfit to care for her son. But with the recent release of court documents related to the case, some of those questions can now be answered.
Entertainment Tonight and MSN.com are reporting that court documents released in the custody case between Sharon Stone and her ex-husband, Phil Bronstein, show that the actress once considered Botox injections for her 8 year old son! Documents reveal that Stone wanted the injections to deal with her son’s foot odor, while her ex-husband simply suggested socks and foot deodorant for the child. Botox for a kid is a bit extreme, isn’t it, Sharon?!
Court papers also state that Stone often seemed “to overreact to many medical issues involving” her son, at one point expressing belief that he suffered from a spinal disease, though doctors suggested that there was “no evidence” to support her claim.
The documents also state, “unless Mother’s schedule is accommodated and her demands are met, she has simply refused to participate in the counseling processes designed entirely to help her son. Such conduct on the part of any parent, especially a parent of a child with special needs, is unacceptable and does not serve the child’s best interest.”
As for quality time spent with her son, the court papers also reveal, “Mother delegates many of her parenting responsibilities to third parties and while this Court in no way faults Mother for having to travel for her career, she is simply unavailable for [her son] on a consistent basis.” It’s pretty ironic that the actress, who’s so involved in crusades for various Hollywood charities, seemed to have so little time for her own child, isn’t it?
