Makeup pro Luc Bouchard’s super-dark lips were an instant hit at the Charlotte Ronson Fall 2009 show. Here’s how he did it.

Luc prepped models’ pout with a bit of lip balm, then pressed on a mix of two intense berry lip liners with his fingers.
Luc’s tip to remove deep lip colors is to slick on a layer of petroleum jelly, then wipe it all with a tissue. 

Designer Charlotte Ronson’s makeup style for the show was described as “a little ’40s, a little ’30s with some rawness to it.” 

The berry lip liners used in the show were M.A.C. lip pencils in Chestnut and Nightmoth and fingers acted as an impromptu lip stain.
