Jennifer Hudson’s Estranged Brother-In-Law Remains Behind Bars
William Balfour, the estranged brother-in-law of Jennifer Hudson, remains in police custody despite fears and rumors that he might be released today. Authorities say a witness reported seeing him with a gun which matched the description of the weapon used in the killings of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and nephew. Balfour will now be held until December 3, when he will appear before the Illinois Prisoner Review Board for a hearing. Balfour has still not been charged with the murders of the Hudson family members, but remains a “person of interest” according to the police.
BittenandBound.com is reporting that Balfour’s girlfriend told Chicago police this weekend that Balfour admitted to her that he was involved in the murders and claimed to have been in the home at the time of the murders and abduction. The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Balfour’s girlfriend is also the “witness” who told police she saw him with the alleged murder weapon.
We hope that police are able to solve the crime soon, so that the Hudson family can find some peace of mind and so that this low-life can spend the rest of his life behind bars!
