As you know by now, JLo took an EMBARRASSING fall during Sunday night’s American Music Awards performance!  We’re not sure what the 40 year old was thinking when she decided to incorporate a jump off her dancer’s back onto the stage in the middle of a song, but she and her choreographer really should have thought twice before debuting that in front of a nation-wide audience. 

Jennifer’s performance was already lack-luster enough, with her coming out in a boxing robe and performing a weak dance that simulated a boxing match, but the dull boxing theme had a lot of viewers scratching their heads, especially since the song she was performing was called “Louboutins” (just what was the connection between boxing and hot shoes??!!).  At the end of the performance Jen’s back-up dancers brought out an outfit change and some prettier shoes (instead of the flat boxing sneakers she busted her behind in), but the outfit change was slow, confusing, and really didn’t matter at that point.  What a hot mess!!!

JLo’s fall did add some spice to an otherwise yawn of a performance, but we’re thinking it may be time for Jen to hang up her microphone and focus on motherhood, acting, and her various business ventures.  No one wants to see more of this nonsense. 

By the way, in case you’re having a hard time finding JLo’s tumble on the internet today… well, it looks like ABC has yanked clips of the performance. We bet Jen’s people had more than a little something to do with that, LOL.

In all seriousness though, we do hope Jen is feeling ok today– she hit the floor pretty hard and it looks like she fell right on her tailbone. Hopefully only her pride is hurting today, and nothing more.
