All you LOST fans out there will understand my complete and utter addiction to this show.  LOST is hands down THE best television show I’ve ever watched.  That’s why I’m SO excited to find out that ABC has released the return date for the show.  Season 5 is set to begin on Wednesday, January 21, with a TWO HOUR premiere.  WHOO HOO.  All I ask for this season are plenty of shirtless shots of my husband, SAWYER (a girl can dream, can’t she???). 

ABC has been pretty mum on what fans should expect this season, but the network has released the titles of the two shows that will premiere on Jan. 21, which are “Because You Left” and “The Lie.”  We know that the Oceanic 6 are struggling with the decision of whether or not to return to the island to rescue those they left behind.  We also know that Ben is wreaking havoc in the free world and that John Locke is dead.  WHAT WE DON’T KNOW (WHAT WE NEVER KNOW) IS HOW!!!!!   Aaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh!  Talk about frustrating!

We have found some scoop for you though.  Tvshowsaddict.com reports that we can expect the following mysteries to be revealed this season:

Areas intended to be explored included the reason Libby was in the mental institution, why Ms. Hawking was in a photograph with Brother Campbell, what happened between Ben and Henry Gale- the survivor of a hot air ballon crash and how Ben was caught in Rousseau’s trap in the second season episode titled “One of Them” an dthe four-toed statue seen by Sayid, Jin and Sun.

OK, I officially CAN NOT wait and will probably begin biting my nails in anticipation TONIGHT!  I hate that this show has such a grip on me, but damnit, those of you who watch understand just how this show can turn otherwise normal human beings into straight up fiends!  It’s like a hit of crack!  So get ready, watch your reruns, start searching blogs, start arguing with your friends about what you think will happen– cuz come January baby, IT’S ON!!!!!
