Nicole Kidman Says Swimming In ‘Fertility Waters’ Helped Her Get Pregnant
Actress Nicole Kidman is crediting the special waters of Australia with helping her get pregnant. The actress gave birth to baby Sunday Rose, with country singer Keith Urban in July. Though Nicole is the mother of two adopted children (whom she adopted with ex-husband, Tom Cruise), Sunday Rose was her first biological child.
Nicole told The Australian Women’s Weekly, “I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child, but it happened on this movie.” Strangely, Nicole says that she believes swimming in the waters of a northern Australia town, Kununurra (where her latest film, Australia, was filmed), helped her concieve. Nicole told the magazine that six other women working on the film who swam in the water also became pregnant during the movie’s production. She told the magazine, “Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy. There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now.”
