There are certain people you put on pedestals for whatever reason, and him being a gospel singer I just never thought he'd be in this position.... but I'm glad people now see that really anyone can be an abuser and anyone can be a victim. And I do think it would be a good idea for people to hear from the abusers themselves so we can get a better picture of what they are thinking and what makes them become this way. My father was an abuser. And to this day I've never received any type of insight as to what made him this way. I have my own thoughts on what could have happened but I've never heard anything from his mouth and I hope one day to get those answers.
