The NY Post is reporting that there may be some serious trouble brewing down in the ATL! According to the newspaper, sources are saying that Real Housewife of Atlanta “stars” Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak are at risk of being cut from the hugely popular reality show because of diva-like demands for more money!

TMZ reports the duo are demanding that Bravo pay for their enormous electric bills- apparently the production crew’s equipment zaps quite a bit of power from the women’s homes, leaving them with HUGE light bills they have to pay for themselves. Ok, that seems like a legit concern to us…

BUT, the women are also supposedly demanding some pretty diva-like upgrades for the third season, insisting that Bravo pay for their hair, make-up and wardrobe costs as well! HELLO!!! This is REALITY tv ladies, and if your REAL income doesn’t allow you to have hair and make-up artists or better clothes, then why should Bravo suddenly pay for you to??

As if that weren’t enough for the aspiring divas, there are also rumors that the ladies are not satisfied with flying coach- and feel Bravo should upgrade all travel accomodations for them as well.

If all this is true, these two star-wannabes had better rethink their behavior! People may know their names now, but without the show, their only options will be shacking up with other washed up “stars” on the next round of Vh-1’s The Surreal Life! Oops! That show’s not even in production anymore… Hmm, maybe Kim better ask Big Poppa for a cash advance just in case…

Kim and Nene, you better calm yourselves down and eat a little bit of humble peach pie to make sure you don’t really get the boot from the show!

The “Real Housewives” of Atlanta will be back for a third season — well, most of them.

According to a source, NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are demanding more money to appear on the show than Bravo cares to dish out — and producers are so fed up with their diva-esque requests, they’re quietly making plans to move on without the two.

“Bravo has been taking meetings with some notable and wealthy Atlanta women about possibly joining the show,” says the insider. “They’re trying their best to keep the process under wraps, but they’re gearing up to make a major move in the third season.”

The insider dishes that the newest Southern socialite will either join the already-rowdy Atlanta crew as a sixth housewife — or replace NeNe or Kim.

… The network does feels strongly about bringing back two of the more well-behaved Housewives: Kandi Burruss and Sheree Whitfield, who share screen time with Leakes, Zolciak and Lisa Wu and seem to be the most popular of the controversial crew. Our source says Bravo will let them stick around for as long as they’d like.

“Kandi was a fan favorite last season. Her audience approval ratings were through the roof,” the insider explains. “And Sheree’s clothing line [She by Sheree] and her catch phrase, ‘Who gonna check me, boo?’ were definite standouts.”

Bravo had no comment, while reps for Leakes and Zolciak didn’t respond to calls by deadline. But fans of the reality show can rest assured that the rocky negotiations won’t interfere with production.

“Things with NeNe and Kim have been intense,” says the source, “but Bravo feels the show is about the franchise as a whole and won’t let one person stop it.”
