On November 30th, MTV will air a 90 minute special on Britney Spears, entitled, “Britney: For The Record.”  The troubled singer, who in recent months has begun to make a serious comeback, sat down with the network to discuss her troubles over the last two years, and her attempts to pull herself back up.  In the interview, Britney says, ”I’ve been through a lot in the last 2 years,” but admits, “I look back and I’m like…What the hell was I thinking?’”

Britney’s last major televised interview, in which Matt Lauer interviewed a visibly disturbed Britney who looked like she’d just returned from a trip to her local Piggly Wiggly (with a quick run into the Walmart for the 99 cent Wet ‘n Wild fingernail polish), was a MAJOR disaster and had people buzzing around the watercooler for DAYS.  There’s no denying Britney’s doing a lot better these days, but this interview still promises to be must-see-TV.  The interview will air two days before her new album, “Circus,” drops on December 2.
