When I first heard about this incident, I was tempted to report about it but my gut told me to hold off. I am glad that I did because it turns out that this little girl is a liar! The story of being mugged and the perpetrator seeing a McCain sticker and then getting angry and then carving a “B” on her cheek for Obama just seemed a far reach.

What’s even MORE crazy is that McCain and Obama’s camps issued a statement about this attack. That tells you how sensitive we have become over race. What is really the “underlying theme” to the lie is that she claimed to be MUGGED and then brutually attacked by an OBAMA supporter. What I interpret that to mean is that an African American, Muslim or minority person mugged her and this is the type of behavior that will get worse if we elect Obama. She wasn’t slick with the point she cleverly was trying to make. It’s a sad, sad world that we live in where in 2008/2009, we are STILL judging people based on the color of their skin.

Police: Campaign Volunteer Made Up Attack Story:

A Pittsburgh police commander told KDKA Investigator Marty Griffin that Ashley Todd confessed to making up the story & is facing charges

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Police sources tell KDKA that a campaign worker has now confessed to making up a story that a mugger attacked her and cut the letter “B” in her face after seeing her McCain bumper sticker.

Ashley Todd, 20, of Texas, initially told police that she was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield and that the suspect became enraged and started beating her after seeing her GOP sticker on her car.

Police investigating the alleged attack, however, began to notice some inconsistencies in her story and administered a polygraph test.

Authorities, however, declined to release the results of that test. Investigators did say that they received photos from the ATM machine and “the photographs were verified as not being the victim making the transaction.”
