According to ET, Deputies found Redmond O’Neal, 24, in possession of methamphetamine, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore announced. The drug was also found in Ryan’s room.

The father and son are both being held on $10,000 bond each. They could be charged with felony possession of narcotics.

What’s really tragic in this story is that Redmond’s sister, Tatum O’Neal, has a severe history of drug abuse and was also recently busted when she attempted to buy drugs on the streets of New York City this summer.  Tatum was featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show last week where she discussed her ongoing struggle with substance abuse.  Wait a minute! Maybe they can all get on the next installment of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew!

On a more serious note, Redmond’s mom, Charlie’s Angels actress Farah Fawcett, has been battling cancer for the last few years, adding to the difficulties faced by the family right now.
