We can’t be the only people in the world that think Joe Jackson’s behavior at the BET Awards was not that of a father suffering the recent loss of his son. His answers come off cold, very non-chalant as if he is using this opportunity to further his own ambitions. Yesterday, Joe Jackson stood with the Reverend Al Sharpton to hold a press conference in an attempt to clean up his BET debacle.
This is a very sad attempt to try to clean up his statement:

It was clear in this interview that he is not as intimately involved in the care of Michael’s children. Michael fought so hard to get away from Joe and now his very own children will be around him in his passing. Watch the interview from Sunday’s BET Awards when he was interviewed and had the audacity to talk about a new record label he is launching. Of all the years that the BET Awards have taken place in Los Angeles, you chose days after your son’s death to make an appearance to talk about your new business venture? Seems a bit suspect!
