You’d think that shoe designer Manolo Blahnik would practically kiss the ground that “Sex and the City” character Carrie Bradshaw walks on, right?  Well, think again!  Manolo has admitted that he doesn’t feel all warm and fuzzy about every diva’s favorite show, despite the fact that the show practically resucitated his fading shoe company with its lead character’s fetish for the shoemaker’s high heels!

Recently, the famous cobbler had some pretty strong words to describe his negative feelings about the show.  Manolo allegedly told a reporter, “If people talk to me about ‘Sex and the City’… I get sick.”  Whoa!  What a slap in the face for the show that practically made his footwear a household name among fashionistas around the world!

Manolo shared his not-so-kind regards for the show in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph on Sept. 6. “The taxi drivers recognize me now. It becomes too much and I don’t feel comfortable. I have never wanted to be a celebrity designer.”

Perhaps the style team over at the SATC sequel got wind of Manolo’s disgust for them, because rumor has it that SJP and the girls are only rocking Louboutins on the set of SATC2!  Take that, Manolo, you ungrateful hater!
